Our CEO hastag#RobertoAceti is participating to the international workshop dedicated to the ESA-JAXA’s Ramses mission, organised by the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Galileo Galilei” of the University of Padua from 15th to 19th June.
The event brought together representatives from the scientific community, space agencies and industry to discuss the significance of Planetary Defence and the unique opportunity offered by the close approach of asteroid #Apophis in April 2029.

Ramses builds upon decades of experience developed through scientific, Earth Observation and exploration missions, working alongside European Space Agency – ESA, Agenzia Spaziale Italiana – ASI, JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and an outstanding network of industrial and institutional partners.
Ramses “stands on the shoulders” of important achievements. From PRISMA to METIS, from IXPE to LARES 2, and more recently through NAOS and IRIDE, each mission has contributed to strengthening the capabilities that today enable us to take on the challenge of Apophis. At the same time, the heritage of #HERA and the support of OHB System AG provide a solid foundation of expertise, lessons learned and proven solutions that are helping shape this mission.
