Great #OHBGroup meeting yesterday at #OHBItalia in Milan to internally kick-off Comet Interceptor.
It was a productive and pleasant opportunity for sharing ideas before formally starting the activities with all our partners involved.
The #mission‘s target is to provide new insights on the evolution of #comets and on the origins of our #SolarSystem.
The Comet Interceptor system is composed of one main spacecraft and two small probes, which will explore a pristine comet approaching from the periphery of the Solar System. It will lead to ambitious #scientificbreakthroughs thanks to simultaneous measurements and #scienceobservations.
