OHB Italia is seeking for its Satellites & Missions Business Unit in Milan, Rome or Turin for immediate start a

 Senior Satellite Verification & Validation (V&V) Manager  Ref. V&V_2026

You will join a team of system engineers, bringing your experience in leading and driving satellite activities along the whole project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch and in-orbit operations.

As a V&V manager, you will drive all the activities relevant with the specification, verification and validation of the project, while respecting the satellite schedule and budget.

Tasks:

• Lead the Verification and Validation of small satellites
• Coordination, monitoring and ensuring the timely implementation of all relevant V&V activities
• Contribution to preparation of Design, Development and Verification Plans
• Confident handling of development processes (e.g. V-model)
• Definition and management of Model Philosophy and HW matrix
• Management of the requirement specification process, from customer to Equipment level
• Contribution to definition of verification methods and stages
• Contribution to the definition of the testing infrastructure (eg. Flatsat, SCOEs etc.)
• Support satellite verification and AIT activities
• Preparation and execution of system and acceptance tests with customers
• Evaluation, logging and evaluation of test results as well as the documentation of deviations

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, verification control
• 5+ years of hands-on working experience.
• Experience in satellite verification, including participation to AIT campaigns
• Excellent sense of responsibility
• Structured hands-on work-approach
• Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Good interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English
• University degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education plus relevant proven work experience in industry
