The first clue of a new physics, i.e. the existence of particles which were unknown so far, just came from the stars. An abundance of particles was measured by AMS-02, the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, instrument from the CERN in Ginevra, which has been installed outside the International Space Station to hunt for antimatter and dark matter since May 2011.
This is an outstanding result for physics. OHB Italia significantly contributed to AMS-02 with the realization of the thermal control and the primary power supply.
