Key #Responsibilities:
🔹 Optical System Design: Lead the design and optimization of optical systems for both space-based instruments and ground telescopes.
🔹 Integration & Testing: Oversee integration and ensure compliance with performance requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
🔹 Performance Analysis: Conduct simulations and performance analysis to validate and enhance system capabilities.
🔹 Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and present findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
🔹 Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
What We Are Looking For:
✅ Master’s or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
✅ 8+ years of experience in optical design, especially for space-based systems.
✅ Proficiency in software like Zemax and CODE V.
✅ Proven experience in ground-based telescopes and a strong understanding of spaceborne instrumentation.
✅ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
