The most important event in the Czech Republic dedicated to the space industry, the Italian-Czech Space Business Forum, has just ended.
It was organized at the Prague Congress Centre by the Italian Embassy and ICE in the frame of the Czech Space Week.
OHB Italia presented its main activities as one of the major player on the European scene, the next projects in which it will be involved and its business-lines with a focus on existing partnerships with Czech companies.
The forum, organized to promote commercial and industrial cooperation between Italy and the Czech Republic, was sold out with 148 members, had the participation of 17 Italian companies, 50 Czech companies and institutions and also 30 companies from other countries. Its focus was to connect companies from various countries, to create new opportunities in the space sector and to promote entrepreneurship in the space industry.
Prague has been the home of the European Union Space Programme Agency (EUSPA) and excellence in technological innovation support programmes for ten years.
The main partner of Czech Space Week is the Brno-based company TRL Space Systems, together with OHB Czechspace, Honeywell and ATC Space.
