Are you an expert in Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (#AOCS) & Guidance, Navigation, and Control (#GNC) who thrives on pushing the boundaries of space technology?
OHB Italia is looking for a visionary AOCS & GNC Architect to lead our AOCS & GNC activities from initial design to in-orbit operations. You’ll play a key role in driving innovation, optimizing processes and delivering top-quality results for the next generation of space missions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
👉 Technical Leadership: Take charge of AOCS/GNC subsystems throughout the project lifecycle.
👉 Design & Development: Create and evaluate AOCS/GNC architectures, introducing groundbreaking solutions.
👉 Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor activities and procurement for AOCS/GNC equipment.
👉 Testing & Validation: Lead verification and validation processes, support hands-on AIT, and launch campaign.
👉 Product Line Improvement: Act as both a custodian and an innovator, identifying ways to optimize costs and timelines.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
#Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D.) in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
#ProvenExperience in AOCS/GNC design, architecture, validation for space applications; in satellite AIT and participation in launch campaigns.
#StrongUnderstanding of attitude/orbit dynamics, mission analysis, and GNC equipment.
#Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink, DOORS and office tools.
