From May 5th to 9th, OHB Italia S.p.A. is proud to participate in the GEO Global Forum 2025, hosted at the Auditorium della Tecnica in Rome.
Organised by the #EuropeanCommission, Agenzia Spaziale Italiana – ASI, and the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), the Forum brings together over 600 international experts to explore how Earth Intelligence can shape solutions for climate monitoring, sustainable resource management and crisis response.
The inaugural #GEO Global Forum is set to be a premier global event, designed to inspire all elements of society, from Ministers and global leaders to citizens, to harness the power of #EarthIntelligence. The aim: to enable informed and ambitious action ensuring food security, restoring ecosystems, preventing disasters and planetary crisis. Together, we can transform the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) into an achievable reality.
GEO connects governments, academia, organisations, civil society and the private sector to tackle global challenges through innovative geospatial solutions. One of the central moments of the week will be the GEO #PlenarySession, focused on the adoption of the Post-2025 Implementation Plan: a strategic step toward making Earth Intelligence accessible to all.
The agenda will also include high-level ministerial meetings on extreme weather, emergency activities, and the “push” of political and financial support. A special focus will be given to youth leadership, highlighting the importance of intergenerational collaboration for long-term impact.
