Optical Engineer (m/f) Ref.Teles_2023
The ideal candidate has worked on complex optical systems development programs, with a strong background in Optical and Optomechanical design and simulation.
Your Tasks
- Optical Engineer responsible for the development and validation of ground and space optical products.
- Design, development and test of new products or improving existing products such as telescopes and optical instruments
- Conducting tests to measure the performance of products
- Provide technical support regarding supplier and subcontracts selection and technical management during the execution of the work
- Provide technical support regarding products requirements definition and verification
- Contribution to Technical Documentation and Technical Proposal preparation
- Availability to support the product installation and commission phase in Italy and others Countries.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Physics with sound experience in the optical system design and development or in similar positions in area of optical equipment design and simulation.
- Sound knowledge of Zemax simulation tool tools.
- Appreciated the experience in the astronomy field.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and capability to establish good relations with the team.
- Problem solving attitude.
- Working level fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
