an OBSW Developer – Application Software Engineer m/f Ref. equipment 02_23
The ideal candidate is an experienced Embedded Software Architect and Developer to support the development of On-Board Software for Space Missions.
Your Tasks
- Provide support to system engineer for software design
- Contribute to defining the ASW detailed specification
- Participate in the definition the ASW architecture
- Review Data package preparation
- Contribute to designing the ASW
- Perform coding rules conformance check
- Perform ASW code coverage and unit tests
- Perform ASW functional tests
- Participate to software test and validation
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience
- Fluent spoken and written English
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of:
- Embedded programming
- C language (gcc toolchain)
- UML
- Active Objects
- Hierarchical Finite State Machines
- Proactive and communicative
Good knowledge of the following is nice to have:
- Previous experience in software design in military or aerospace will be appreciated
- Previous knowledge of ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST80C
- Previous knowledge of LEON processor (SPARC)
- Previous knowledge of RTOS (RTEMS)
- IBM Rational Rhapsody
- Eclipse IDE
- Docker
- Basic knowledge of IBM DOORS
